Intel‘Ultrabook Adventure'

In collaboration with Interlude and Intel we created a web of interactive stories that would compliment Intel’s campaign for its hyper-thin Ultabrook. This project involved using a framework that allows users to choose their own adventure while watching a film. Through this flash player, which Interlude developed, users are able to jump to different parts of the story and we worked with them to build the story and interaction for these films. First we started with direction and VFX on three stories from three different eras, all telling the story of a hero who’s thin computer gets him out of some interesting time traveling situations. Then we worked on integrating all three stories into each other with the ability to time travel to different eras with our hero. Next, Facebook integration was added that allows users to create specialty titles and personalize each film with areas in which their picture or name would be inserted into the film. It was quite a complex web of films, that ultimately gave control of the story to the viewer. However, try not to time travel too much in these films as we’ve been told that you can create a black hole that could put our whole universe into a frozen moment.
