Recent GraffitiFeb. 19 2008 Over the weekend following President Nichol's resignation, instances of graffiti were found in several prominent locations on campus, most notably on the steps and doors of the Wren Building. Tribe United denounces this graffiti, finding both its message and its execution counterproductive to the intelligent, respectful dialogue the College requires in this difficult moment. We encourage W&M students to continue to channel their ideas in a constructive manner. The act of stenciling obscene messages on buildings exhibits a flagrant disregard for the school, and we believe that anyone who truly holds the College's best interests at heart will refrain from resorting to such a means of expression. Students who are looking for opportunities to contribute positively to the College should visit TribeUnited.com and subscribe to our mailing list for updates and upcoming events. |
