  • Gateway Funding
Work Group dedicated to ensuring that Nichol's efforts towards fully funding the Gateway Initiative will not fall by the wayside.

This group is going to be actively searching out those students who have been or currently are recipients of the Gateway Funding Program. We will be collecting statements from them anonymously to find out just what the Gateway Program has done for them. We will then present this information to the press, the B.O.V. and any other individuals who this information may pertain to. We are also searching out Sharpe, Monroe, and any other scholars who have been recipients of a generous scholarship through W&M. We will also strive to raise awareness to students here at W&M so everyone knows what exactly Gateway is and how a student earns the Gateway Program Gift.

If you would like to read the information posted on the W&M website please go to http://www.wm.edu/gateway and read more about this program which makes it possible for low-income families to attend W&M without going into debt and giving them the same opportunity as students coming from a higher income Socio-Economic Status.
